Keepsake Box in Quarter Sawn White Oak, Hand Carved Lid in Koto

This keepsake box is perfect for storing items such as jewelry and sentimental items, of or even as a gift in itself.

The main box is built from Quarter Sawn White Oak wood, an American hardwood with distinctive “flecking” or rays noticeable within the grain. The lid, and base are Koto wood, a West African wood with a pale yellow-ish color. The miter splines are made from Paduk wood, a tropical hardwood which has a beautiful natural orange color. The Koto lid has a shallow hand carved design, in a ripple type pattern. The box bottom is lined with fabric, in a green and white pattern.

The box is finished with a hand rubbed, durable natural oil and wax blend, free of toxins and VOC’s, that leaves a beautiful sheen with a pleasing natural touch to the wood.

Interior Dimensions: 3-1/8" long X 3-1/8" wide X 2-5/16" tall
